Shipping & Returns

Delivery Instructions

Delivery of goods will be made to the customer’s specified address. Customers are responsible for making all necessary arrangements to accept delivery when the goods are tendered.

The failure to deliver on time does not entitle the customer to cancel the contract. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by delayed delivery or failure to deliver the goods (or any part of them). Once goods are delivered, the risk passes to the customer, even if ownership is retained.

Freight charges will be calculated upon order confirmation and added to the invoice. Customers may arrange their own freight or pick-up. Please specify this preference with your order.

Shipping of Goods

Delivery times may vary based on availability and external factors beyond our control, such as carrier delays or incorrect delivery address details. We cannot accept responsibility for delays due to these circumstances.

  • Processing Times: Standard orders are processed within 2–3 business days and are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. Some products, including steel items requiring powder coating, may have longer lead times. Where applicable, these items are scheduled into the next available production run for the selected powder coat colour.
  • Shipping Times: Once dispatched, please allow 4–8 business days for delivery.
  • Stock Availability: If an item is out of stock at the time of ordering, remaining items will ship as they become available.
  • International Delivery: We currently do not ship internationally.

 

Powder Coated Steel Products

Steel products requiring powder coating are available in your choice of our standard powder coat colours. To maximise production efficiency and minimise waste, powder-coated items are generally manufactured alongside other products being coated in the same colour.

As a result, dispatch times may vary depending on when your selected colour is next scheduled for production. If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend contacting us before placing your order so we can advise the current lead time or discuss available options.

Where possible, orders will be processed and dispatched as soon as practicable.

Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days. Unfortunately, returns outside this period cannot be refunded or exchanged.

If goods are supplied incorrectly, damaged in transit, or faulty:

  1. Contact us at 1800 062 541 or email office@activityplaygrounds.com.au for a Goods Returns Form and guidance on our simple returns procedure.
  2. Returns of custom-made products require prior agreement.

When returning items, ensure you include:

  • An original or copy of the Tax Invoice or delivery docket.
  • The product’s original packaging, including manuals, booklets, pallets, cartons, or containers.
 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method.

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:

  • A replacement or full refund (including shipping) for major failures.
  • Repairs or replacements for goods not meeting acceptable quality, where the failure isn’t major.
 

For change-of-mind returns, a restocking fee may apply. Shipping costs for returning items are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund if applicable.
